MEDITERranean courtyard

02

My brief was to re-design and tidy up an existing garden, replacing a rotten decking area and putting in dry beds and seating area. The garden already had a large olive tree and lots of sunshine so we decided upon a Mediterranean theme and set about building a 'Goddess Garden' for relaxation and entertainment purposes. To be enjoyed primarily by the three women, mother and two daughters living there. All woodworking was undertaken by expert carpenter and joiner Andy Burley. Plants sourced from local nurseries and statues found in Brighton antique markets.
